Fa La La

This Christmas Season, I haven’t really listened to much Christmas music but for some reason ‘Joy to the World’ keeps popping up. Have you listened to/read the  lyrics of the song. It is so inspirational. Can you imagine the feeling to know that Jesus Christ was being born….the feelings of excitement or in pure of awe of our savior.

Here are the lyrics…tell me what you feel when you think of this song.

Joy to the World

Verse 1

Joy to the world! the Lord is come;
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare him room,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing.

Verse 2

Joy to the world! the Saviour reigns;
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

Verse 3 (optional)

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

Verse 4

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

    The song reminds me of how happy we should be that we have a savior that came in the world to pay the price for us!
